Do You Hear the People Sing?

On Friday, a special one-off musical performance was held, to raise money for the Mermaid Centre, Royal Cornwall Hospital. The organizer of “Do You Hear the People Sing?” wanted a lasting memory of the event and commissioned me to photograph at the final dress rehearsal at the Hotel Victoria, Newquay.

These are some of over 100 processed images I provided her with.

Photography to exact specified requirements

My first assignment of 2014 involved returning to Smiths Gore in Truro, one of the UK’s leading firms of rural chartered surveyors and property consultants.

The national company had commissioned corporate headshots recently but the local office need to add new staff as they are hired. This meant taking photographs to very specific specifications so they will match with the other headshots taken previously.

Through a combination of following these guidelines, studying the existing photographs and post-processing in Lightroom and Photoshop, I was able to ensure the new images would seamlessly integrate with the other headshots.

Corporate portraiture

In addition, I was asked to produce a photograph suitable for a press release to introduce the latest member of staff.
